Pretty sure the parts, case, and stand alone are worth more than 125-150.

If you want to attempt to repair that chip (if you're keeping the drum,) go to the Stewart/McDonald website and look up their guitar finishes. Look at the colors offered for tobacco sunburst repairs. Should match your drum pretty good. Follow the instructions for repairing that type of chip-out at their site. If you're keeping it, it's fixable! Put it looking like new.

Nevin nailed the price. I'd fix it and play it/keep it.

Definitely a possible flip, too - but I do Blues gigs 3-4 nites a week and these are great lil blues snares. I had a mahogany one w/ nickel hardware for years that I loved.

Maybe I'll just strip it and sell the parts ; )

i'd also leave it as is. those chips and so forth are almost expected on the 60's duco snares. that one is a beauty. a person with a matching kit would have a fit over that drum. I know it sounds good as I have a few. ive paid as little as 180 for one of my pioneers and also sold one of my duco pioneers for 275. they vary in the price range.
