I have one of my 60's floor tom clips leg mounts slipping. They are in really great shape.All edges are nice and sharp. Is there anything I can do to fix this,other than buying a new one???Thanks,Vati

Maybe install a small hose clamp around the leg under the clip...sort of a memory lock?

You can also used a small memory lock clamp off a mounted tom "L" arm that would fit you leg..Mikey

Maybe clean but not polish the leg. Same with the mount. Maybe it is getting a bit smooth to hold properly.

Not familiar with these, but is the a spring that is getting weak?

Pull the clip apart & rough it up a little at the point of contact with the leg..

use a fine metal file.
