I can't get enough of these finishes (I can't understand why these finishes weren't popular back then???) - these drums are really beautiful to look at, they have brilliant colors. I was able to find a beautiful Ludwig Pioneer snare in Galaxy to really complete this set. The main kit is made up of an original 1962 set - I think before Galaxy appeared in the catalogs, all the drums are absolutely gorgeous and have red felt baseball bat mufflers. The snare is 277XXX and has white muffler but the match is outstanding.

On top of the drums I got all this really neat hardware and accessories that are difficult to find. Paiste Standard 602? Cymbals, a Ludwig Cowbell & Wood Block (plus an original Rogers Wood Block for the Mardi Gras set!), the cymbal stands and a DIXON throne that has a silver sparkle seat that matches the silver sparkle inlay on both this kit and the Mardi Gras kit! It is really cool. This bass drum really booms too.

At this point I can't do anything more - there is no more room left in my basement! And there is no more money left in the bank???!!! But this is really a nice collection of cool drums in these cool multi colored finishes. Time to clean up and enjoy everything.

BTW: They are good friends, aren't they!
