Other than the center-mounted double tom configuration, are there any differences between a '60s Hollywood kit versus a Super Classic kit? I'm presuming the 13" and 16" toms are the same from set to set, but is that also the case with the 22" bass? (Other than the mounting hole?) Are the hoops and mounting hardware the same and located in the same places?

they are the same. just a different configuration. earlyy hollywoods had dual 12 toms and some different tom mounts on them. but after that,late '65, they were the same and also had 13 inch ride toms.

And that answers that!
The 13's are also different because the tom mount on a hollywood set is on the other side of the drum since the 13 is the second tom. Just something to think about if you are looking for singles.

years ago my dad gave me his kit that he bought brand new in 1969
it's sky blue pearl and 12, 13, 16, 22 and 14 supra
i guess i always assumed that he ordered the hollywood kit.
would that be correct?
he told me that when he was looking through the catalog he chose that one because all the others just had the single tom and he didn't like the look and he liked the two toms because the kit looked more symmetrical so he went with that one. haha.
