Are hoops the same quality manufacturing on top-of-the-line Ludwig kits vs. Standards - since we're here, both wood BD & COS?

Just measured. The rims and hoops are the same as on my '66 Ludwig kit.

As a caveat: I have heard that the Standard hardware was supposed to be 'different'. So me checking one Standard kit -vs- one Classic kit is not the final word. Ludwig mixed and matched everything, especially on the earlier and later Standard kits. Shells, lugs, etc...

So there you go! More mud in the water! :)
