I've noticed on lots of Ludwigs if you look through the badge hole a lot of times the stamp will be across from before mentioned badge hole.
Looks like this is sold regardless. Nice drum and congrats to both parties.

I bought a '65 Acro from John around 6 months ago or so. Best damn snare drum I own!!
I know they all sound good but there is something to be said about the 60's era acros.
Pending payment, the drum is SOLD!
Dean/Schmeggegie is going to be real happy with this one. It's in such great, original condition I was sorely tempted to keep it for myself. I already have three Acro's so I just can't justify keeping it. I figured I'd pass it on to someone who would appreciate it and use it.
Congrats Dean! Boys, and gal, thanks for the kind words and comments. :D
John
congrats to both seller n buyer.
Dean...you'll fall in love with that snare. and you couldnt buy from a nicer guy. enjoy.
John...you ever come across a 64, call me first n concider it sold.
John,
Thanks for the Acrolite! I've been waiting and searching for the right one to come along for quite some time! Honestly, I've been playing and collecting for 30 years and never owned one! Hard to believe huh?
This one fits the bill, and the case is a bonus!
Thanks again John! Can't wait to see it!
It's great when we can stick it to ebay huh?
Let me know what you think when it arrives, Dean. The great condition of the drum is a mind blower for something that old. I was tempted to keep that one! :D
