Ludwig L1372 Cymbal Mount Last viewed: 2 hours ago

I'm curious if y'all know of any alterations to the Ludwig L1372 cymbal arm and mount over the years. I've read something about the head being tapered at some point, but it's hard to find pictures of any that aren't tapered. What would jump out at you and tell you when an arm is from?

What era are you referring to, the vintage period to now?

Yep. Particularly if there's something that says an arm is at least a '70s item, if not older.

I don't know how different the actual cymbal arms are from the 60's to the 70's but the brackets changed a bit for sure. The ones with the threaded wing nut and the later ones with the eyebolt.

Taper, knurled L-arm or straight, tensioners, tilter and the eyelet in the mount all tell you what year/years.
