Will the large classic lugs fit 3 ply and 6 ply shells, or are the post larger for the 6 ply?

they will interchange. cant recall if the posts are different or not. but I have used them on both. the 6 ply shells usually require longer mounting screws/bolts.

+ 1 to Mike!
When I changed some lugs from 6 ply to a 3 ply shell, I had to add at least a extra washer to the screw.
