Don't worry, there is no plot to thicken... you have a pre-serial Chrome Over Brass (COB) Ludwig Super. They are valued at anywhere from $650 to $1000. depending on condition. $35. and you didn't need a gun - You did great.

Good lord you won the lottery with that one.

An Acrolite for that price would have been a steal, and that's a student model, and common as hydrogen.

Please take before as well as after photos; I always love to see how old drums clean up.
