I really need to sell this kit, but don't have a clue what it might be worth.
I've posted questions about this kit a couple of times, but haven't gotten any love from the forum.

Since you asked ... not a great deal of money.
It's a piece together from several disparate non-impressive years in one of the most ubiquitous wraps sold by Ludwig. The stands are a mish-mash of off/non brands. The cymbals (note the spelling) are a mixed bag of metal targets with one notable exception; the ride is a quality cymbal with low resell. The snare is neat but is not from a high value or high desire Gretsch era.
I realize this sounds harsh but I wanted to cut to the chase and be very direct. You had inferred that no members here were assisting. So I wanted to speak as frankly and to the point as I could for you.
It's a nice gigger and has probably served you well. Personally, I love a nice red kit.

Pretty much what RS said,The 6 ply ludwig era drums just don't bring much money,but at least your drums are double sided and standard or traditional depths, I don't know much about stop sign badge Gretsch,but what you have there is a pro quality,but not in demand or collectable kit,as far as the drums go,and the Zil ride cymbal,the hardware is good quality,but not worth a lot.
Nice players kit, you could list it as 650.00 obo and be happy if you got 500.00.
You might do better selling the snare separately,I think it would bring at least 150.00 to 200.00,maybe more,not up on greetsch prices, the ride sep,prob get around 100.00 , and the red sparkle drums together.
Or you could list the red drums all separately,there could be people out there looking to complete or ad to an existing 6 ply kit,I am thinking 35.00 to 50.00 for the small toms,50 to 75 for the floor tom.maybe a 100.00 for the bd.

The only part i disagree with is the 6 ply part I have played them all 3 ply 5, 6,9 and the 6 ply is as good as any of them and they hold up better IMO they sound big and full and have plenty of projection and i play then now..
Please don't break up a kit just so you can make more money. There are enough orphans out there already. Take what you can get for the set and just be happy that you got it.
It was never a "kit". It's orphans brought together. Breaking it up does nothing negative to this one.

Presentation is important in advertising your kit.
Separate the 3 '69 blue/olive badge drums and set them up as a three-piece kit. Select only the stands that go with that era until you have to add something in order to have the two cymbals on stands with the hi-hat and pedal. Place the snare with it and take a picture from front, rear and sides that demonstrate a nice neat 4-piece set with ride, crash, hats, and pedal.
Then indicate separately that you have extra pieces and show them in separate photos. In other words, clean up the presentation so they see the base kit and the other things they get for the price. Personally, I think you can get the higher $$ the guys on the forum spoke of, and use the extra items to secure that price.
In this way you will find it improves your chances of maximizing your price.
