Ludwig Rockers on Reverb Last viewed: 1 hour ago

That is a good deal. I have the same snare drum and was impressed with it.

I know the Rocker drums sound great since they were the same shells as the Classics. I'm a big fan of the 6 ply Luddies.

The coated SKIII is a my favorite bass head.

I think these are 4 ply and the kick is 6.

Hard to count the plies with the Lude-Cote.

Yeah, Super Kick bass drum heads are nice indeed! :)

Thanks, I learned something new. I just read that from '84-'94 the Rockers were 4 ply poplar/maple.

I'm not sure on the pre-'84 drum shell composition, but I read somewhere that the Standards with Black/White badges had the same shells as the Classics.

Nice looking drums in any event. Black and chrome is classy.

Eh, probably the ugly lugs and black wrap are dooming this kit :DI can't believe how awesome the snare sounds actually after putting a decent Ambassador on it yesterday.I almost want to keep this set as it's standard depths. Thanks for the bump John :)

Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder...and we know many beholders here like black wrap. Not my favourite wrap or lugs but if I wanted a kit like this I agree with DrummerJohn - $300 would seal the deal.
