i've been looking for one of these for some time. any comments? it looks like one of the hoops has been replaced or at least the wrap on the hoop? also appears the top hoop is cracked.

Wood hoops from the 30's and 40's rarely survive 70+ years and are probably very fragile. The drum is not a Ludwig. That model is hard to find with all the parts intact.

i just realized my mistake. i knew it was a slingy -- looks to be a ben pollack model? just wondering if anyone notices any huge red flags other than obvious things...
