Warning ... Avoid member statuscymbal here, vintage_collector on DFO , and americanpatriot10 on eBay. Email me for his name. All are the same shady guy who has burned me and a list of other members on both boards . He is also selling on Facebook too ..

Well as originally equipped the sleeve should extend about an inch out of the stand. It looks like yours is only sticking up about a quarter inch above the bottom cymbal. It should probably be at least double that. Either you sleeve is stuck too far down into the stand or else somehow it got shortened. A longer sleeve (or maybe a thinner felt ) should solve your issue.

Thanks, guys! I can cut the felt in half, and hopefully I will also be able to adjust the sleeve. Thanks for advising me wit this.

Thanks, bmx. These have been a labor of love. Essentially, I bought this all original, but ugly, aqua satin Gretsch kit around 2007. Then, around 2011, I made a killing hocking some gear that was given to me. In 2013, I brought the kit to Precision Drums--WHO ARE THE BEST INDIVIDUALS IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE INDUSTRY--EVER!!!! (I couldn't more highly recommend their services!!!!) And, with a TON of help from MLVBS from Classic Vintage drums, who I also cannot speak more highly of, I recovered the kit to a sexy, smoky, burgundy sparkle.

Obvious it too thick or the sleeved is pushed down more than it should be that lip needs to clear by a 1/2 to 3/8 inch higher

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
