Ludwig Stainless Kustom Kit Last viewed: 4 minutes ago

Here is the Stainless Steel Ludwigs I just pieced together. 10x26" bass, 8x12" tom, 12x15" floor tom. The bass and floor tom were from the marching drum family. They didn't seem to mind leaving the football field and heading into the club. The set sounds great, I'm super happy with it, plus the short bass is nice in tight spaces. This was onstage last fri night, we opened for Lukas Nelson and The Promise of the Real. That is Anthony LoGerfos'(Lukas Nelson, POTR) set in the background. He had a Rogers tom, and floor tom, and a Supraphonic. I didn't catch what bass drum that was. They put on one hell of a show!

Nice job kit looks great :)

Ditto on what VM2K said.

I was interested to see your air vent/badge location on the bass but could not see it clearly in the pics, but since it was a marcher your air vent hole should be centered between your reso and batter heads.

Could you please confirm the location of the bass drum's air vent/badge hole for me?

Thank you

Yeah, right in the middle running parallel to the mach lugs. The thing is really light also. Has some serious punch, I love the sound. I have a Superkick II on it with a smooth Ambassador. I added the Pearl spurs to it. You can see the blue dot under the cymbal in the one pic, that's the badge.

Thanks El Larry,

It is just another marching drum that helps prove my 14x28 kick drum is a virgin Ludwig factory 14x28 kick drum, NOT a marcher converted. I have not found anyone who has heard of 14x28 kick drum, so I am still searching.

Cheers!
