Ludwig Standards avacado finish Last viewed: 6 hours ago

I just picked these up from GC. The snare is a Ludwig Rocker and the bass drum hoops are replacements. The shells and wrap are original. The mufflers are intact and the bass drum even has the cymbal arm mount and original cymbal arm. 22,13,16. I paid $449 for the set. I know this is a pipe dream question, but does anyone have matching hoops?

Thanks guys

Beautiful! Does the snare not have the same badge as the rest of the set?

The snare has a black/white badge and is chrome over wood (maple). If it sounds good, all the better.

Gorgeous kit, and sounds like a nice price to me. I have the exact same snare it sounds fab. I like how the rocker lugs match the standard. I'm thinking of stripping the chrome off and doing a different wrap on mine. Congrats on a great set!

Gotcha. I think that you will like this snare. Have several and love the way that they sound. Congrats on those new drums!

Bass hoops would be the same as any other 22" Ludwig bass drum hoops of the era but, of course, the inlays would be a tall order. Bumwraps could likely make you some but no idea what that might cost. Although if this were a wrap they were looking to recreate perhaps you could work a deal with them as they'd need a shell to scan.

Cool snag!

You got a fantastic deal on a set with a tough wrap to find. Good luck with it !

I had a Ludwig Rocker snare and it was really good...and loud! Should be Monroe, NC-made...? Great deal.

Heck of a sweet deal, love that finish and oh yeah, those maple snares are killer as well. I have a few: one clear maple interior and the other one with granitone paint inside.

Keep fixing them up...
