ludwig strainer Last viewed: 7 seconds ago

I need a snare strainer for an early 1970's Ludwig acrolite snare drum. I think it has the ludwig name in chrome with a black background. Not looking for perfect, just functional.

If all you need is a replacement face-plate, I have one in near perfect condition. If you need an entire strainer, you'll have to hold out for it.

If John's faceplate doesn't work, I have a brand-new P85 still in the bag.

1974 - Got your email... I'm not going to charge you for the piece, I'll be happy to gift it to you so you can complete and play your drum. It's only collecting dust over here, I'd rather someone who needs it, to use it. It'll cost few bucks to mail it though and it would be appreciated if you cover the mailing cost. PM me your mailing info, I'll get the part out to you tomorrow.

Enjoy,

John

John, very cool! You're one of the most generous people I know that I have never had the pleasure of meeting.

John is an awesome guy! Ive seen him do this for people quite a few times.

Another person to mention is Makurtz (dont know his real name)... anyhow, last week I needed a lug casing for my 70s ludwig kit. He sent me one at no cost (and a damn good looking one too)!

These two guys are proof that drummers tend to be the coolest Walking people in the world!
