I have a Ludwig 6 piece Super Classic 4 Ply kit with the long lugs in Blue Shadow finish that I bought while studying music in college. If you look at the kit on page 3 of the 1994 catalog it's the one on the bottom in Ivory Marble finish. Mine came with a piccolo snare also. My question is this: I graduated college in 1992 and bought this kit prior to graduating. From what I can remember I bought it in 1988 or 89. Am I crazy? I cannot find any other images or information about this kit prior to 1994 but I definitely had it much earlier. The kit is in top notch condition and I still play it regularly. Any help would be appreciated.
