Ludwig Super Classic Snare - PINK OYSTER - Nickel Hardware Last viewed: 2 hours ago

Another nice addition to the collection -

I am super excited about this drum, as i don't have any oyster finished drums in my possession. I decided not to clean up the nickel hardware - dig the dull look. Maybe down the road i will clean it, but for now - this drum is in the same condition as it was found! Not much fading at all on the wrap either.

Thanks!

Chris

I love the pink oyster wrap. A snare with that wrap is on my wish list. I think it'll look cool with my Vintage Black Oyster kit.

Wow! That is quite the collectible drum! I remember a pink oyster pioneer (6 lug) that changed hands for a large sum of money recently...

EDIT: I just looked it up. It was more than $2K. :O

I know it's rude to ask, but it makes me wonder how much you scored YOURS for...

That's one sweet snare. I love the extended, longer snare (w/ever its called) on my SC - it allows a far wider range.

Enjoy it - Chris

Thanks for all the kind words guys! This was quite a lucky find for me.

I don't plan on selling her anytime soon.. so i'll go ahead and tell.

I scored the drum for just shy of 600 plus shipping. Right place at the right time.

I might try and toss more photos up. It has nearly no fading and the interior is incredible as well.
