Can anyone make anything out of this bad picture?

Kinda like those ink blots they use to get into your head!

Thank you!

Looks like an acro snare on the ground – 10 lugs a side on the bass drum, could be a ludwig kit but i'm not sure...

This is really a long shot-I'm going to say Ludwig Rockers cause of the fire engine red color.Looks like maybe a Speed King pedal.

I thought Rockers also. Going to check this out tomorrow, just posted this because I was excited. For once something in my own town to go look at. The cymbals are supposed to be Zildian. The owner who sounds like an elderly woman could not pronounce Zildian over the phone. Ya just never no, they look like old ones but we will see.

I immediately thought Rockers as well, but I thought the bass drums came with 8 lugs per side. That red definitely looks like the Rockers that I recently sold. I'm not sure about those cymbals being Zildjians, but it's really hard to tell from the small pic. The shape and color don't quite look right. I'm usually pretty good at picking out old Zildjians from bad ad pics. I say go have a look... the anticipation is always half the fun, isn't it? If it ends up being a score, then all the better. Keep us posted and good luck!

Ya I have a set of red rockers and they have 8 lugs on the bass. From what I can see the bass drum in my picture has 8 also, I am not seeing 10 lugs. It also appears that the bottom hoops are missing, bummer. It was the cymbals that attracted me anyway. Yep, cant wait to find out.

The set could be a Classic Ludwig in the 70's Ludwig had a Red Silk finish. But on the other hand Ludwig Standard drums had a Red silk finish to..But the photo is a bad one..The cymbals look good but then who knows...Mikey

Well if they are Rockers then those are good for a veneer wrap. I never seem to find the really cool vintage drums. I will find out soon what the heck they are. People sure take time to take quality pictures, not!

Thank you!

Looks like an Acrolite and either a Standard chrome or a Rockers COW. Could also be some old Pearl COS bad-boy as well. They do appear to have 8 lugs on the bass.

OK. here it is. Ended up being a MIJ drums with the thicker shells. They are rough and missing lots of parts. I bought these because I have a red sparkle kit just like them ready to restore and these can be useful for parts.

The real big seller was the Ludwig acrolite snare, I rolled the dice thinking that it might have some value. It has the kestone Chicago badge # 631998 and a date stamp of july 22 1968.

Also that Zildian cymbal is in good shape, 20" ride. It says "Scimtas" or something like that in black ink. It does have the aveidas zildian stamp with made in usa on it as well and its heavy.

The hi hats were cheep Pearls, the other cymbal was a cheep zildian in very poor sahpe. Drums are close to junk but I will use the hoops. Anyone need some lugs?

The other snare looks like a MIT CB700 but not sure.

Well that was fun!
