Since I became interested in Vintage Ludwigs I seen a lot of different version of Ludwig's Large Classic Lug. Now you're probably saying "different versions, There all the same". Yes And No. Outside Ludwig's Large Classic lug from the 50's, 60's, 70's & 80's pretty much looks the same. But inside or underneath during certain periods of this lugs history they are completely different. I put together a picture collage of the Large classic lug in order that I think they were made. I'm probably wrong but it's still interesting to see how many version there actually were. And I'm sure a lot of you new this already and probably saying "someone has a little to much time on there hands". LOL!!!

If you know what the actually time periods each lug was used please share. I sort of have an idea but not 100% sure. I'd like to hear from others.
