hello VDF,just wanted to show some pics of the mach 5's I picked up back in March.They were gold silk and had a triple tom tom mount on the bass drum.The wrap was in bad shape and so were the bearing edges,especialy the toms.So,I took the shells to Sunbury,Pa.,home of the Lawton Drum Co..Im shure some of you know the place.Jack did an amazing job on these drums(a true master).not to mention one heck of a nice guy.I picked up a double tom mount for the bass and a dbl.tom stand off ebay and walah here they are with green sparkle wrap .sizes 24,12,13,14,16 and 5x14 ss.All matching serial # 1975-76

What a great save! Jack is one of the best there is. That kit is good to go for another 50 years. Nice work.

thanks guys ,Im still getting aquainted with this kit,just picked them up last weekend.I went with the clear pins and clear emperors because that works well for me on my other kits.But this kit is a different animal,black dots would be cool too.
