Mahoney's Last Stand Last viewed: 2 hours ago

I got all of my supplies before the big hurricane hit FL in the early 2000s, I got nice plywood flooring for $13/ sheet. The metal roof was reasonable, paid for 8x8 pretreated posts, and board and batton, a door, a free wood stove, pipe, free toilet, free large thermal double pane glass... Start saving items. The structure itself was all free but the labor to create. Fell trees, debark, cut to length, double pulley system to raise, I've got a video clip of that somewhere, it's scary and dangerous done alone... I think I spent a total of $3600 on all purchased supplies.

I'd say building the cabin is a pretty impressive accomplishment. Some of us have that kind of knowledge and gumption....the rest of us rent or buy. :)

Larryz, you might want to try renting like Mahoney did, see how it goes before committing to building/owning. Just a thought...

I'd like to mention - what Alexis Kanner does in the very last scene/shot as credits roll is brilliant I think, though a bit hard to actually *see* with the print available. Anyone who watches MLS let me know what you think.

Also [ahem] it is rumoured that Keith Moon played a bit on this soundtrack; the drums he played would now be vintage. :)
