I'm currently working on a Slingerland project. I've got a player's kit in Green Glass Glitter and want to install some natural maple bass drum hoops (20") on the bass drum shell.

I'm hoping that some of you Slingy gurus out there might be able to recommend a source for finding a pair that would be a good match for the Slingy claws and rods. The shell is from the 60s.

The last pair I bought, coincidentally for a 20" Slingy, was from Drum Foundry.

I bought a nice 20" maple hoop from drummaker.com for my Club Date... nice hoop. It was a few dollars cheaper than the other drum supply shops. I've heard other people recommend Aitwood as well.
