Had a cool surf feel to the tubs and the kick drum sounded like a cannon!

May I suggest adding about 5 or 6 roto toms and 9 or 10 more cymbals to that kit? Laughing H (joking....)

Thanks, I changed it up a bit from the original version, that's kinda what I was going for, more of a rockin, surf groove.

You know, instead of roto toms and more cymbals, I was thinking about another 24" kick!Excited

Hey, johnnyringo!

I had to listen to the tune again. It brings back so many good memories..in particular, a certain high school dance with a beautiful blonde belting out the lyrics! I got to know her after the dance. Damn, those were good days!
