Hey everybody,

Here's the original state of a 70's 50N Rock Outfit that has been my project to turn into a reasonable 80N Buddy set.

Just have to add the second set of spurs and we'll be there.

There is life after "Spiff Cool and The Speed O Jegs" whoever they are/were.

I think they must of been a BIG hit in Iowa where the set came from.

Not meaning to nitpick ...

Your splash mount is in the wrong place for it to be an 80N. It should be more to the rear. That keeps the arm far enough away from the 13 inch tom and still make the small cymbal accessible.

I've posted a pic that should help to visualize it.

Thanks Roger,

Ya know you must have been reading my mind.

Because when I did the mount I was unsure as to the location and should have been more diligent as my research.

I really didn't look hard enough at some of the Buddy pictures I have to get a better perspective as to it proper location.

Hope it doesn't look to messed up......
