Wow, he lives.... It was a drummers site and could be one of those.Yes the house kit came late, like 65+. Both stayed in the pit. the one in the closet stayed there most of the time. What get`s me is the word "studios" but they had rooms and all so....I would think that you paint Hitsville like the big sign out front, or just Motown but... Hope he get`s to the bottom of this.

Yes, he lives :p

I hope that he gets to the bottom of it as well. Either way, it makes for an interesting story.

Interesting that the FT does not have MOTOWN STUDIOS painted on it as well. I wonder if the TT and BD were part of an original studio kit and not the FT. Is it possible a cartage company painted the name on the drums for their own identification?

Cool thanks Eminent for the tip I'll check out that guy! Also, Oddball thats very interesting because with this kit I also got a 13" white slingerland drum vintage early '60's that I sold :-( I heard that they liked to put up two 13" toms sometimes without a floor tom just to get a different sound. That Slingerland drum might be part of that first kit?

I saw that drum on eBay and almost bid on it! Crud....
