My Christmas present. Last viewed: 26 minutes ago

Loading...

My daughter who lives in Houston called today and said; “dad, I need to tell you what I got you for Christmas” She was concerned that she might have purchased something I did not want. She tells me this, “I got you a Ludwig drum from 1962” I say, stop right there, you don’t need to say anymore, wrap it up and mail it! Then she says “mom said to make sure it has a badge, it doe’s but the badge has no numbers on it and I was concerned about that”. Again I say stop, you found something special, wrap it up and send it, no need to return it.

So the surprise is spoiled right? I think not. Lots of questions running threw my head. All I really know is it’s a Ludwig drum with a keystone badge and no serial number.

I can’t help but be excited now! C’mon Christmas, lets go!

A pre-serial Ludwig something or other... you're in for a X-mas treat! Thoughtful of your daughter to get that gift for you.

Can't wait to see what it is myself now!

John

Too many great drums to list here!
