My Day Has Come…. Last viewed: 10 hours ago

Tonight I brought home my sky blue pearl kit. Its a downbeat set with a few small issues. I am one happy man! Sky blue pearl is my favorite wrap and Ive wanted one since I became interested in vintage drums and saw this wrap for the first time. It does have extra holes in the top of the bass drum from someone moving the rail mount twice and the seems need to be glued down on the bass and FT. The bass drum has generic T's also which I will replace with authentic ones at some point. The badges have consecutive numbers also which is awesome to me. The wrap is that perfect aged gray that is oh so beautiful to these eyes! I will get better pics up at some point. I am a very happy man tonight! At some point I will add a 16" FT.

Nice catch and very handy that it has floor tom legs of a comfortable length. That will make it much easier to get a good position for that drum. Good luck on getting the parts you need and the 16" floor tom.

I too have always loved that wrap colour and it looks like a great project to me and one that will bring huge rewards to you personally.Hope you do add that 16"ft at some point as that will make that set look even more killer.

Congrats! Those look superb. My fave wrap as well. Don't see a lot of downbeat b/o badge kits. That's awesome. I see maple interior in the bass drum. Are they 3 ply with re-rings? I'm sure a 16 will come up sometime. Easier to find than the 14 and also easier on the wallet. Enjoy those!

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!
