once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

I have a Toyota Yaris Hatchback. My current Vistalite gigging setup, which includes a 24" kick, 14x14 FT and 18x18 Zickos FT fits in the back with the seat down. I still have space to fit a rug down the center of the car. and yes, that's a 12' board on top of the car.

Right on Gary! Orange is my fav color and that car is about as cool as they have ever been made - by any manufacturer. You must have a supportive wife....or at least one who has good tastes like you!

My next vehicle will be much more appropriate for hauling gear. I have a coffin style SKB hardware case with wheels - that I can not use because it won't fit in my car in any way! I am blessed to have found another case that holds all my hardware (thrown included), which also has wheels, handle - the works. It helps when all that hardware is vintage MIJ flat- based!

John

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

Yeah, I can fit 22,13,16 snare, cymbals and hardware bag in my MINI. Trouble is, I don't have any gigs to go to these days. Hmmmm

Worse would be to have the gig and just the car next to mine. I'd have to start playing bass.Guitar Dude Man

Supportive Wife? not entirely part of my plea bargin agreement was I had to sell my precious GT Cruiser, which also at one time was a show car, it was an 03 however with 180,000 miles, so I guess it was time, this car is a blast to drive..........I was searching for this color nationwide and one turned up 16 miles from my house. The one thing I'm not happy about is being my daily driver, you know how the roads get around here.........I have 4 90# bags of tub sand in my trunk LOL!!!
