My Grandfathers Radio Kings arrived safely from New York to California. Need some work, but can't wait to play them. 26" bass, and 13" tom, and 14" Snare. He bought them from his drum instructor in '45 or '46, after they had been in a fire at the club the instructor played at. My Grandfather had them recovered, and used them through the early 60's. he said years ago he gave the floor tom away, to a friend. They were set up in his basement since he stopped gigging in the early 60's. 2 or 3 generations of grandkids banging on them, me included. Pretty cool drums, just thought I would share.

Beautiful.

Going to be a GREAT project. Can't imagine how cool it would be to have set of drums that belonged to my granddad or even my dad. Congrats.... very special indeed.
