John,this is somewhat of a mystery here as to the year range these tags were issued, but in the original thread both Powertone and Gary N shed some light on your question.On the early Dyna`s the instructions were printed on the Dyna batter heads(early 60`s).These yellow hang tags could have been used as early as these first Dynas along with the printed batter head instructions at the same time.I know my original came with my 67`snare so i`m thinking these were issued throughout the entire decade of the 60`s but i`m not possitive about this? If Gary N would chime in he`d have some better info on these tags than i do. I`m thinking the cut off point was likely 1969,but i`m guessing here too.In the early 70`s the instructions came in a manual.Wish i could be more exact with info here but that`s all i know.I bet your 76` looks fantastic with the tag. Imho a dyna no matter what year should have one of these tags...
