once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Robyn - I have to appologize. This is -your- drum room thread. As much love as my buddies are throwing my way, I don't want to hi-jack your thread.

Thanks again for all the very kind words. Let's get back to Robyn's drum room! I want to see some pix with the old Camco's with the blue swirl wrap and I also want to see the vintage red Luddy kit completed and ready to rock. The room is really starting to come together.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Ok i promised a shot of my camcos when i got them to the band room so here they are...

I know...they need some work. I really haven't done much with them for a while, but hopefully that will change. My brother is in love with this kit. He wants to fix em up right, so we are gonna do a restore together. I know what needs to be done to put these babies back to singing again and mike wants to pitch in to get them going. So ill be doing other threads in other sections later, still got alot going on, gotta get settle in the "new" crib, then we will get the project going. Looking forward to this litl plan, cant wait to get it started. This is gonna be fun. Oh...and i let mikey talk me out of them too. So they are his drums now.(please all dont boo me at once) lol. Actually, im proud.

Robyn - Just how many drummers are there in your family??? LOL

I think it's great the Camco's are going to your brother, Mike! It'll be nice to see that kit put back together and ready to play. That 14" floor tom makes that a killer little Camco kit. Can't wait to see them all cleaned up and ready to rock! Photos when you guys are done detailing them.

Robyn, you are now officially the nicest person on the forum. Giving your brother a Camco drum set, wow, you are one class act!

I think you will find that the Camco gurus on VDF are really nice guys and will help out a ton, they sure came through for me when I got my kit. Your kit looks like it will clean up real easy. Good luck and please post some pics of the process.

Thank you!
