My New (to me) Ruby Strata Ludwig Standards Last viewed: 1 second ago

Loading...

Okay, finally getting some pictures up of one of my 'new' kits. Jazz sizes with added 16 FT (and brushed aluminum snare not shown). 20, 12, 14, 16.

Yeah, these are pretty. My wife even likes 'em, and she insists I play 'em at a gig this weekend. Yep, those heads are only a memory now...

Someday, I'll get good pix up on my website, with dates and serial #'s. Someday...

Consider these teaser pix.

Love the wrap. Wish someone would bring that back.

Ludwig did kind-of bring the ruby red strata wrap back this year for their Keystone series drums with salmon oyster and red oyster. I love the look of the red oyster...very vivid.

Anyways, red strata is probably my favorite standard wrap followed by any of the astro finishes. A 12, 14, 20 config isn't all that common right?

fish, I hate you...

You just keep coming up with all these amazing kits. But then again, you live in the hole in the world where they lurk at will are easily trapped with minor amounts of bait. THOSE ARE SWEETLY AWESOME! And the config is all you need.

You stole my thunder! But that's okay. :)

I've seen that new wrap, and they are great lookers! Just out this year I'm pretty sure.
