Man, those are some ubersweet drums! Lucky score!

Concerning dating, the internal paper labels can tell us a lot. I'm guessing they're either late Cleveland or early Dayton era. Is the interior paint grey or speckled grey?

I'm sure some of the experts here will help you zero in on the approximate year of manufacture.

Beavertail lugs came out in late 63 (most just say 1964).

Bowtie rods were gone by 67,weren't they?

I would guess around 65 for your kit,unless they are Dayton,then 66.

Great kit BTW......the 20" BD will sound like a 22" Luddy!Laughing H

I've gotten good results using soft scrub to clean heads - just stay away from the logo!

I usually just wash them off with a scrotch-brite and some dishsoap, staying away from any original artwork.
