I'm just little beyond that LoLoLoLo...presently learning "The Entertainer".

What years did they offer them from?

Mine seem date to around 1973, give or take a year. From what I understand Slingerland offered the Phantoms only for a short time in the '70's during the acrylic craze.

Did someone say something about having drums in the office?????

I work from home and my Leedy kit is set up in the office! It's good to play on my Union breaks...ha!

Cool Phantoms, by the way!

Slingerland made these Phantoms from 1974 to the end of 1976.They did not sell very good ay all. This is why the set's are so rare to come by..Oh they only made them in a 22.12.13.16 and a matching snare..But then again very few set's had the matching snare with them. Most guy's got the C.O.B or C.O.S. snare with the set's....Oh its a very Cool set you have...Iam looking for one myself....Mikey

Started my detail process with the floor tom. Stripped it down, cleaned & polished all the hardware, which took very little effort because of their near pristine condition. The threads in two of the legs lugs for the tee-bolt where starting to strip, so I heli-coiled all three of 'em. Used some Novus #2 with an extra-fine foam pad on my electric buffer and carefully polished in the inside & outside of the shell. Removed a few little scratches "by hand" with the Novus #3. Finnished it off with the Novus #1 on the extra-fine foam pad and then hand-buffed with a micro-fiber cloth. Not sure if you can tell in the picture but the Novus really took out the "fog" and made the shell just about crystal clear! Here is a pic with the "detailed" floor tom behind the the 12" tom that's gonna get the treatment next. And check-out the back side of the lugs, Slingerland chromed the springs!

Wow, Those look amazing!! And you haven't even cleaned them yet! From the pic they look pretty darn clean already. Btw, do the drums go in the office after there's no more room in the kitchen?
