My.... second Dyna!!! Last viewed: 18 hours ago

Hi friends!!

A kind of fever has gripped me and I succumbed again to another beautiful Dyna...:D

Not exactly cheap (like the first one I obtained), but I think that considering the overall condition, it was not a bad deal.

Of course as always, I would like to hear from those who really know and have more model data (year, etc)`Help2

Hereby, I'd like to give my heartfelt thanks to Glenn (FFR428) for his selfless and generous attitude to my request of Dyna tags.

God bless this community (a bunch of Really Cool & Noisy People)!!!

Relax - I have the exact same Dyna 9/72 and I paid $325 for mine about a year ago, but that was before the bottom dropped out on these. I wouldn't sell mine now... soft market.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

9/72 era, referring to the Fullerton period with the 9/72 tags which was from the fall of 1972 thru the fall of 1975 (perhaps a couple months of overlap into Oct. Nov. 1975). This ended the Swivomatic period of Rogers, which had lasted around 15 years. Fantastically successful. Rogers Memrilock was the next period, 1975 thru 1983/84* (very little was produced in 1984 and the shutdown was complete by mid year),

Your drum was produce in 73 or 74. Oval Badge Dyna-Sonics numbered into the 55000 range by the transition to Memrilock and the Big R badge in 1975.
