This is my project snare from last year, a 14 x 7 snare built from components and covered with mappa burl veneer, finished with about 8 coats of poly-rub. Was going for a vintage look with the tube lugs and hand-rubbed oil look. The shell is a 10 ply Keller and the hardware came from American Drum Parts, with premium die cast hoops and strainer. All it lacks is a cool badge. Thought some of you might enjoy a look.

Very nice I'll bet with all that poly she sounds different
April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp
once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

thanks Jaghog I gigged with it twice and couldn't believe how loud it is. fat and deep, you'd not mistake this for a metal drum.
