WOW! I've never seen anything like it. The lug screws...the clips...the inner veneer (no idea what the wood is -walnut, perhaps?)...green felt muffler...

I want to say it's a foreign drum of some kind. The lugs kind of remind me of Leedy, but the shell is completely different than any Leedy shell I've seen....which really isn't saying too much!Burger Kin

Those are "Rocket" lugs...Gretsch used them until the 1950s. Rogers also made some drums (when they were primarily a company that sold heads) with those same lugs, as did Walberg and Auge. Those clips were used by those companies as well. The tone control looks like an early Rogers. Could be anyone of those or a "stencil" brand. That drum may have been originally held in a cradle and the legs added later...they look "home made".

Actually,I heard Gretsch used Rocket lugs till 1950,then they came out with the lugs we know and love nowadays.......
