This one is in OZ at 800AU...(570 USD).. Is this an "in the ballpark" deal on these? ... looks in nice condition..
Cheers

Hi John!
From my understanding, these are very well made drums and get lots of praise from everyone! The price seems more than fair to me. Check out this link to our own forum about this from 2012... http://www.vintagedrumforum.com/showthread.php?t=30914

Thanks for the link Mark..

You're welcome, John!
Are you planning to get this drum? Sure looks like one of the good ones!

I'm not a Slingerland expert but I believe that Cloud badge was used in the 20's 30's and 40's. Which makes this drum at least 65 years old or older. Is it all original? It looks remarkably clean.

Hi BosLover!
I can understand your confusion about the Cloud Badge and thinking this is a vintage RK. Though not too clear, look closely at the badge and you can see that it says "Nashville". Note the lugs? They weren't around until 1955. So, what we have is a beautifully built RK from the Nashville factory days. A really nice drum!

Thanks I'm really more of a Ludwig guy.
Much as I would love this one... probably not... (finances) I need to move some stuff on from my garage... (Not drums... electronics)CheersJohn
John,
I completely understand your situation. I'm finally beginning to let go of many of the drums I've collected over the years. Just sold a COB Powertone and a Slingerland Student Aluminum snare drum. Also have a really nice SuperTen up for sale right now in the For Sale section. More snare drums to come! I've got too many nice drums that don't get used and it's time for them to go to loving homes!

That's a nice snare John. I'm not really a Slingy guy, but I like that... Is it a local sale in Sydney, or is it way out in Woop-Woop?
