Need help identifying a Ludwig snare Last viewed: 9 hours ago

Hi - there is a stencil kit for sale on CR for $200. Along with the sale are some vintage Zildjians and a Ludwig snare. The only picture of the snare is of the badge and part of the shell. Serial number is 520,127 - mid-60,s. The shell seems to be polished aluminum, not chrome. Could this be a Supra? or was Ludwig making cheaper models then. Thanks so much. Dave

the aluminum finished drum of that era is an acrolite. same shell as the supra. just has 8 bowtie lugs instead of 10 imperial lugs. nice drums.
