Hi All,

I just purchased this old drum today and know nothing about it. If anyone can give me some info I would appreciate it. thanks

Your drum is a WFL world war II era marching snare drum for the US Army here look at this badge guide it will date yours in the 1940 era also the snare strainer dates it there also due to the use of wood on the strainer, there was a law in effect during teh war called the 10% law that non essential war item's could only contain 10% metal in their products. http://www.vintagedrumguide.com/ludwig_badges.html
