Hi ALL!

Just got a hold of this 8 X 14 Ludwig 12 Log snare.I'de just like to know what it is really called. I have a serial number of 2246273 < i have looked online can't really figure out when it was made, maybe one of you guys can tell me . Pix below !

I'm pretty sure your drum is a Coliseum model.They were available with and without a slotted shell.Your drum was made after 79.That was the only 12 lug drum Ludwig made besides marching snares.

Ted, you can probably get it to look much better than it does, but the rust will probably removed the chrome. I sold the one I showed you for $285.00 but it was in good condition, not much detailing was needed for my drum. In the condition your drum is in now probably under $200.00 or a great trading Item for you to use?
