Grommet on Bass drum is correct. It was a friction fit like that which is why so many Gretsch bass drums are missing their badges. Floor tom leg brackets look right.Gretsch called that color "Midnight Blue Pearl"

But it`s chromed or aluminum. Didn`t they use brass or copper ?

Nope, the round badge bass drums (usually) used a unique grommet. Nickle, bigger in diameter, and friction fitted (not crimped in place).

Didn't Gretsch also use a different bearing edge style in the late 60's/early 70's? I read something about a "pencil" style bearing edge. Round-over on both the inside and outside?

Maybe I was dreaming. :)
