Need various parts to restore a Trowa kit Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Loading...

hi,

currently restoring a Trowa kit (end of 50's, start of 60's), see the Old drums questions thread, I'm looking for these parts :

- 2 lugs (T-rod) for the Bass Drum, complete with their shell

- internal bass drum muffling system (front head) with the external level control

- 2 drumheads for the BD, diameter : 49.5 cm (about 19.5")

- spring for the kick pedal

- snare wires, about 410 mm (16") with 4 mm studs produding 20 mm at each end as Calfskin explains in this thread

- rod for the cymbal, about 7 or 8 mm diameter (I have the shell on the BD)

- 3 screws (6 mm) for this cymbal shell and the two BD legs, about 40 mm long, something like the screw on the tom support shell

- complete hit-hat from these years, even if it's not Trowa, for the look... ;)

- floor tom with similar look, same as above...

on the picture of the bass drum top, you can see the hole for the muffling system, the cymbal rod shell (left), the tom support shell (right) and the color.

Thanks in advance for any offers and ideas

Cheers

Phil

Try to contact Gerd in Germany:

Perhaps he has some of the pieces or an idea where to get them from.
