Never seen this on a slingy before... Last viewed: 24 minutes ago

I know the guy. He's an honest person. I know he bought them like that years ago. The position of the badge on the floor tom looks so weird to me. Any leads? If someone from out of state wants the set I can help with the pick in up and shipping.

I've seen that placement of the badges too. Must have happened around one year or so.

Yes, Slingerland put the badges higher on the toms for only about a year, some time in the 70's. That's also a cool color! Everyone thinks it's an uncatalogued finish, but it's just what happens over the years with "Sparkling Black Pearl". I love Root Beer!

The 5-digit SN + the more rounded shape puts this kit to 1970-72. The badges should still be using etched lettering. Bottom line is this is a very desirable kit.

I live reasonably close and would love this one. You better jump on it before I do! LoLoLoLo

It is a very desirable finish on very nice condition...Now the question is: Is it a good price? Its missing the snare and the sizes aren't too special...Opinions?

The sizes this kit would be considered to be a gene krupa 1n kit if it had a soundking snare drum or a 1n deluxe if it had a artist snare drum, the color is rare and in good condition, if your looking to flip not a killer deal but not a bad one either.
