Hey Az, I don't use single headed drums, man, I stick with what I know, for my rock kits, I use pinstripes top, ambassadors bottom. For kits with shallow toms, coated ambassadors and clear ambs on the bottom. I have started to use aquarian coated whites on my yam 8000 and they sound tremendous. As for the black shadow resonator kit, I am lusting after a 10" tom for this set, and an 18" floor.
