Some guys really like a lot of muffling in their kick drums but this is probably a bit too much.

That's a huge upgrade over the toilet-flower-pot I saw once, while on the road somewhere.........Falling Do

My HOA would have a hard time with those planters. Maybe green sparkle would be more pleasing in your front yard?

They need rescuing for sure. There would have to be some serious wood rot starting in there unless there is protective plastic with good drainage in the bottom. Flowers are always nice - it could work with some creative horticulture design and proper care I guess......But, it would be a very nice success story if they were rescued and brought back to playing life.

electricit My Ghod in Heaven! Are those Rogers Beavertails on those drums?

Cute idea, but painful to see. If it was an indoor planting with the shells lined, but outdoors, exposed to the elements like that? I love old drums. It made me wince to see em. DOH

Too many great drums to list here!

Not beaver tails, those are MIJ, however, I cannot begin to imagine how much sealer it would take to protect that Luan from the elements and from the dirt and moisture associated with a planter.

Agreed the're MIJ drums, but to me ,that"s not a new life, rather a slow death to a couple of drums that could have been made to be what they were designed for.

To be played.Just my 2 cents
