Those Club Dates look nice but I think those flat base stands are ugly. Maybe it is I am so used to seeing my 1400's. They do look sturdy and well made. I looked at them again and I think it is the high rubber feet that make them look funky. if they were half that height the stands would look ok. Just my humble opinion. I am thrilled they are coming out with the new hardware. Can't wait to see all the offerings.

Probably pretty expensive...nice nonetheless. Has anyone heard pricing/wrap reports yet?

Don't quote me, but I think the Clubbies have a similar shell build to the E's cherry gumwood. They had the 800ish price tag from what I recall reading. Mark can verify this.

Looking at the rubber feet, they look as if they are reversible so you can position the stands over each other. that something you can't do with the vintage ones. you can see the hi hat feet are reversed.
