Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share some pics of a 9/72 Rogers kit I picked up this weekend. The kit is not collector status as someone drilled a very small hole into the bottom of the bassdrum for some reason. There has also been a cymbal mount added to the 13x10 tom. None of the hardware is Rogers. So here is a rundown of the kit and all the groovy accessories:

22x16 Bass

12x9 tom

12x9 tom (orphan)

13x10 tom

16x16 floor tom

16x16 floor tom

14x6 Ludwig snare (possibly early sixties, need to do more research)

14x6 Slingerland snare (possibly 1979 student model)

Zildjian Avedis 20'' ride made in Canada

Zildjian Avedis 17'' ride / crash made in Canada

Zildjian Avedis 14'' hi hats made in Canada

Zildjian Avedis 14'' hi hats made in USA

Zildjian 20'' China low boy

Sabian 20'' ride made in Canada

Sabian B8 15'' thin crash (sound like your hitting a ****)

Three old chinese cymbals (thread in the cymbal forum trying to identify)

The Ludwig and Slingerland snares came in black plastic cases. The case housing the Ludwig was no name. Also came with a Ludwig Billy Gladstone vacuum drum pad.

The three made in Canada Zildjians I bought from a local gent last night for 'wait for it' 30 bucks. I giggled all the way home.

If anyone can help me out with the identity of the three cymbals on my thread in the cymbal forum that would be great.

Giggled heh?

I am betting that is a COB Supraphonic. You probably paid less for all of it together than that snare drum will be worth if it cleans up nice.

Great score.

Now you can laugh uncontrollably rolling around on the floor.
