Looking good.

I got good results with the stuff, although it took a lot of the product to get the kind of depth I wanted. Since it's not cheap, I decided to go with other stuff in the future.

I clear coated it with Krylon's recommended top coat and it looked great.

Yep it's tough up here - pretty much any time I've come up with a specialty project, I've run into sourcing roadblocks.

On the topic of DIY glitter finishes, whether applied to the drum and coated/buffed or applied to a clear plastic sheet and glued to the shell, I found this which I think would be a great product though I haven't tried it yet. They also have silver which mixed with the gold would be amazing looking no doubt....eh?
